Problem Note 58207: Computed column names might change after migrating a SAS® Enterprise Guide® project

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

When you migrate a SAS Enterprise Guide project from release 4.3 to a later release, your computed column names in a query might be changed. For example, suppose that you created a computed column named COUNT_of_VAR_NUM in the query builder. After you migrate that query, the column name might be changed to SUM_of_VAR_NUM.

Click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.

Note: The issue still persists when you use the Migration Wizard Tool. As a workaround, open the old version of the project with the new version of SAS Enterprise Guide. Then, save the project and use the Project Maintenance tool to re-map metadata objects.
